Charlie
O's Jazz Club - Charlie O's is an intimate jazz club
and restaurant originally established in 1987. We have been
presenting live jazz performances seven nights a week from 8
PM to Midnight since August 17, 2000. Charlie O's is also a
players hang out -- Freddie Hubbard, Don Menza, Plas Johnson,
John Heard, Roy McCurdy, Frank Capp, MYSELF and many others
are often here when they have a "night off" just to hang out
with the other cats and maybe sit in for a song or two. |

Carl Saunders / Master Trumpeter - Carl has performed
with The Pat Longo Hollywood Big Band for a long time and ALWAYS
in great demand! His recording of "Manteca" with my band is
getting critical acclaim worldwide!! Until recently known and
admired primarily by fellow trumpet players, Carl Saunders has
lived and worked in relative obscurity for many years. Trumpet
players knew of him for his ability to make the seemingly
impossible be not only possible, but easy and musical. |

Pete Christlieb - From the 1970s through the 1990s, the
sound of Pete’s tenor could be heard on television and motion
picture sound tracks and recordings. Today he can be heard with
his own recently formed 10 piece group, The Tall and Small Band,
with his own quartet, and with the Bill Holman Orchestra, both
live and on CD. Electing to follow in his father’s footsteps as
a studio musician, Pete has played in the wind section on the
Star Trek shows, and has had featured solos on CDs like Natalie
Cole’s “Unforgettable.” |

Kim
Richmond - is an active and versatile musician based in
the Los Angeles area. He and Pat Longo have worked together
regularly over the years and has been an integral part of the
Pat Longo Hollywood Big Band. His first love is jazz, and his
primary jazz voice is the alto saxophone. He has, however, been
involved in nearly every facet of the professional music
industry, both as a player and as a composer/arranger. His
instruments are alto, soprano, tenor and baritone saxes,
clarinet, bass clarinet, and flutes. |

Carl Beluga / "StarSwinger" - Carl is just incredible.
Hailing from Sweden, he is a gifted writer, singer and
arranger... his "Starswinger" CD features a REAL orchestra he
organized for this project. Making a big band album has been a
lifelong dream of his... and HE DID IT! Swing over there and listen to 3 of the great
tracks! |

Billy Michaels / "Tribute" - An excellent
singer, Billy Michaels has indeed been in the game for several
years. His wit and personality come across in his
"Tribute" CD recording.
Recently Soron Records, the label in which Billy Michaels is
signed to, INSISTED, for the sake of better artist/listener
relations... that Billy provide some details about his
colorful history in the music and entertainment business. Now
Billy Michaels isn't one to go on and on about his past... NOT
his style... but you'll indeed find some very fascinating
